Matrix Tall & Matrix II Tall
Probably the most well-known font on this page, Matrix Tall was the font used for the logo of the DiC English dub of Sailor Moon and the first English release of the manga by Mixx, later renamed Tokyopop. The font isn't a 100% one-to-one match, as some letters were modified to be more stylized.
The original Matrix Tall font was developed and published by Zuzana Licko as part of the Matrix font family published by Zuzana's graphics design and type foundry company Emigre Graphics starting in 19861. This font family were Type 1 fonts written in PostScript2, with Tall being the final of 13 variants released in 19923.
When the OpenType font format was relased in 2002, Zuzana took the opportunity to rework and improve Matrix into the new format, which began in Spring 2007 and completed over a four month period. This new font family was renamed Matrix II to avoid conflicts with previous versions4.
